Have you tasted illusions? They are sweet and tempting, attractive. You plunge into them, like into a pool with your head. At some point, you are ready to give up all the truth of the world for the sake of illusions. Their taste. Taste of illusions by Bibliotheque de Parfum is about that. About sweet bliss, about a perfect world, life outside the framework and prohibitions. About happiness? Yes, and undeniable. It emphasizes the lightness and beauty and it does not forget to emphasize the strength. That is the strongest rod that even the most fragile beauty has.
What does illusion taste like? It begins with a blend of fern, lemon and black currant leaves. There is a bit of exoticism and freedom here with a hint of passionfruit. Then, ecstasy awaits you in the “heart”. Do you know how it sounds? First, your receptors get to know the tea rose. Sweet, a little spicy. Then lily of the valley – dope with a capital letter. And a clove that fills you with hot warmth.
The bright finale is musk, tonka beans and sandalwood, which last for an infinitely long time in the train. Try Taste of illusions by Bibliotheque de Parfum. Tell the world about your femininity aloud. About the beauty in whose honor legends are born. About the passion for the sake of which the best of men go crazy and create madness.
DEDICATED TO EILEEN: Who returned every Saturday with white flowers.
Eileen used to sell passion fruit on weekdays. Already ripe, with slightly wrinkled skin, sweet. She cut it in half so that customers could eat the fruit directly with a spoon, taking in the thick nectar. This has been her full-time job for the past five years: selling passion fruit as cheaply as it has ever been in any European country.
Outside of work, every Saturday, Eileen would leave the concrete city and set off on a journey of two hours each way to the rainforest. She would spend the whole day there, and her family wondered why she would travel all that way. The girl would return with a bouquet of white flowers and several branches of fern. They stood by her bedside until the next Saturday, giving off a fragrance, especially when the moonlight fell on them. Of course, these flowers also made her dream of the tropics: as if she was living there, among the fruit trees and flowers, listening to the wind and birds, and not even knowing that the city existed.
